HorseDream: The Art of Leadership is a one-day workshop built around leading change. To maintain the status quo is the role of management; to innovate, improve, and to create requires leadership. But to lead change, you must be willing to change yourself. Whether you are a Chief Information Officer, Director of a Not-for-Profit, or in an executive role, change is inevitable. To be on the front of the curve and make the most of the opportunity that change presents, it is critical that you understand the ABCs of leading: Alignment, Balance, and Connection.
The experiential design of the workshop enables you to not just read about or discuss leading, but to see and feel yourself leading. The Horse-Assisted nature of this workshop allows you to visualize your personal alignment and whether your team is aligned with the new goals; apply leading behaviors in a balanced approach that reduces heavy-handedness or neglect; and teaches how to know whether you are connecting to your goals and your team.
The HorseDream: The Art of Leadership workshop is generally offered as a public or open enrollment opportunity. Like all of our workshops, this one can be tailored to your organization's specific needs by creating a specific business context and addressing a specific shortfall. This workshop can be delivered in conjunction with other events, such as executive offsites or an annual kick-off. Locations vary.
HorseDream: Train the Trainer is a 3-day experiential workshop designed to introduce the HorseDream Corporate Approach to coaches, facilitators, and consultants working in a specific market segment. This workshop is the only workshop we offer that requires knowledge of horse behaviors, horsemanship skills, equine safety, as well as a working knowledge of your chosen market segment or anticipated customer base.
For those already working with Equine or Horse Assisted Coaching, Horse Assisted Education, or other equine assisted activities, the HorseDream Corporate Approach can add a proven effective offering to your practice. It holds significant promise to increase revenues, expand your client or customer base, and enrich your own experiences by connecting you with a global network of practitioners.
The HorseDream: Train the Trainer workshop is generally offered as a public or open enrollment opportunity. Like all of our workshops, this one can be tailored to your specific needs by scheduling a custom delivery at or near your location for the equine professionals in your area. Locations vary.
Our Build Your Herd workshop is generally delivered as a customized 2-day or 3-day event. It is designed for new leaders, newly formed teams, or existing teams that find themselves having issues around alignment, balance, and connectedness. Using experiential opportunities from the HorseDream approach, as well as other Horse Assisted Learning and Coaching resources, we work with the intact team to improve effectiveness.
Contrasting human, horse, and other natural behaviors, roles, and problem-solving approaches, we deliver a vivid example of the cultural differences between a team, a pack, and a herd. You will experience how the herd model can improve overall performance, satisfaction, and communication - both verbal and non-verbal. We will work on defining and respecting boundaries, building resilience in your herd, and improving your speed to outcome.
The Build Your Herd workshop is generally offered as a private enrollment opportunity. We can discuss your specific needs and schedule delivery near your location or host you at one of our network facilities as an off-site. Lodging and meals can be discussed as part of any off-site arrangements. Locations are flexible.
